Remove the 2 small screws on the lock latch chrome on the rear of the door pry out the black plastic piece behind the door opening lever remove the small screw behind the black plastic piece above remove the push down lock at the top of the rear of the door it unscrews.
Remove door panel w123.
Then take off the rest.
Use a trim removal tool and gently pry the clips and panel from the door.
To do this use a flat plastic pryer to work your way around the edges of the door panel.
With the panel free lift it up and off the door clearing the door lock pull on top.
With the panel off you can see the series of clips on the back of the panel.

This will slip the lower window trim piece and an interlocking plastic piece on the door pocket out of their respective slots and allow you to remove the panel completely.
When they all are loose you can pull upwards on the door panel and the clip for the plastic pocket will loose see image.
Use a trim removal tool and gently pry the clips and panel from the door.
It is a good idea to order extra clips in advance as these tend to break easily.
There are a series of plastic clips holding the panel to the outside of the door.

Just pull more upwards and it will come off.
