Hi all im in the process of sorting out the garden and looking at potentially using concrete posts and concrete gravel boards as sleepers won t last long unless they re railway or oak.
Or am i asking for the fence to subside over time.
The principle is that the active earth pressure on the boards and the wind loading on the fence above is resisted by the passive earth pressure in front of the buried section of the posts.
